Once again
I got the privilege to help with a challenging sauna/bathroom project. At the
top floor of an apartment was a bathroom which required total change over. The walls should not move. The renovated space should accommodate a shower,
basin, toilet, sauna and washing machine. The apparent main challenge was the
steeply sloping roof which actually allowed the sauna to be positioned only in
one place. In the end it was a battle of millimeters to make sure that sauna
door had enough space to open and that one could stand when taking a shower.
The end result is very pleasing, functional and the space looks much bigger than before.
Sauna, which is only 1,1 x 1,7m, has proven to be surprisingly spacious and works
as well as any bigger sauna.
